Each year the Parent Club plays an important part in raising money for the school. Past projects, such as the school hall, synthetic turf around the school grounds, resurfacing the basketball courts and the addition of the running track and new oval area have helped to make Kingswood a great school. Our funds from 2017 will go towards new play equipment for the senior students.
By registering with the Parent Club you will have a voice, voting rights and the opportunity to share your ideas and views on how the Parent Club contributes to the school. Even if you can’t come to every meeting you can email the committee with any ideas you have at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Parent Club organises major fundraising activities: the Kingswood Kids’ Challenge, Trivia Night and School Disco just to name a few. We also organise the Prep Orientation BBQ, the junior and senior school fun nights and the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day events.
In our meetings, various working parties are set up for the different activities – this way we are able to share the work load. Meetings for working parties are held on different days, so parents who are unavailable on our regular meeting days may still be able to contribute. How involved you are in Parent Club is up to you. The dates of our meetings are advertised in the school newsletter.
