2025 Prep Enrolments
The Department of Education and Training (DET) has released a new statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Prep at a Victorian government primary school, including Kingswood Primary School.
The new timeline will apply for children starting Prep in 2025. All government primary schools will follow the new timeline to support Prep enrolments for the 2025 school year.

Key Dates:
Term 1:
31st January – School tours commencements, please click BOOK A TOUR for a school tour.
Term 2:
15th April – Prep 2025 Enrolment application process opens. You will need to contact our school for an enrolment form.
Term 3:
26th July – Prep 2025 Enrolment application process closes.
5th August – Families are notified on the outcome of the enrolment application process.
We recommend for all new families to complete a school tour the year your child is in 4-year-old Kindergarten. Please go to the BOOK A TOUR page.
