Year 5/6 Water Safety Day

In conjunction with Life Saving Victoria, students in years 5 and 6 will be involved in an ‘Open Water Learning Experience’. Year 5 students will rotate through open water activities and Year 6 students will take part in a ‘carnival’ of open water activities.

The program is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of different open water environments and is designed to introduce participants to the following aspects: Personal Safety and Environmental Awareness, Water Awareness, Survival Skills, Rescue Skills and Beach Skills.
