Community Engagement

At Kingswood Primary School, we engage our community in a number of ways and are grateful to everybody who participates at any level. There are opportunities to attend events, join School Council, Parent Club and working parties, review policies, provide feedback on school events, volunteer in classrooms and on excursions.

Last week marked the first of we hope will be many more ‘Drinks On The Green’. Parents and Staff were invited to join the Principal Class to enjoy a beverage and some nibbles outside on a warm summer’s evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to chat in an informal setting. It was delightful to see so many parents and staff come together and take the opportunity to get to know each other beyond the standard parent teacher conversations. It was also a great chance to meet some of the new parents to our school as it allowed them to meet some of our parent club members and learn how they can get involved in Kingswood events or volunteer as a parent helper.
